Head Coach
Delilah Pacheco-Leon
Coach Delilah Pacheco-Leon has a wealth of experience, passion, and great knowledge of softball. With a proven track record of success, she is committed to developing our team’s skills, fostering a positive team environment, and achieving new goals on and off the field.
Prior to joining Lake Travis High School, Coach Pacheco-Leon was the Assistant Head Softball Coach, Girls Athletic Coordinator, and Head Volleyball Coach at Manor High School. She was the Head Softball Coach at St. John Paul II High School and John F. Kennedy Elementary before that.
Coach Pacheco-Leon has been playing softball from the time she was three years old and attended and played at Blinn Junior College, acting as Team Captain both years, before transferring and playing softball for the University of Utah where she earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Sociology in 2017.
Assistant Coach
Sarah Pannkuk
Coach Sarah Pannkuk is a Lake Travis Alumni. She was a Varsity softball player all four years she attended Lake Travis. She is happy to come home to the Cavalier Nation!
She is entering her 3rd year of coaching and teaching. She spent her first two years as the Athletic Coordinator and head coach at a middle school in Manor. During her extent in Manor ISD, Sarah has coached her teams to District Champions. Her background as a Lake Travis alumni and her impressive track record with the Manor ISD middle school teams, including an undefeated season, highlight her dedication and skill in coaching.
Coach Pannkuk’s dual role as a teacher and coach, particularly in CAV Leadership, Freshman Volleyball, and as an Assistant Softball Coach, demonstrates her commitment to developing students both on and off the field. Her academic background in Psychology and Exercise Sport Science/Coaching should also be a great asset in her approach to coaching and mentoring young athletes. She has always wanted to be a coach because she enjoys developing the skills of the young athletes and watching them go on to play at the next level!
Assistant Coach
Brandace Boren
Coach Brandace Boren is currently the head volleyball coach at Lake Travis High School, where she is starting her 10th season. She will also act as the Assistant Softball Coach for the 2024/2025 season.
Prior to her arrival at Lake Travis, Coach Boren served in the same capacity at Warren High School in San Antonio (2009-2015), John Jay High School (2006-2007), and Texas Military Institute (2004-2006). She also served as an assistant coach at Churchill High School (2007-2009) under JoAnne Hultgren.
Coach Boren is very active on the clinic circuit, having been a featured speaker with THSCA, Texas Volleyball Insiders, and TGCA at clinics in Houston, El Paso, San Antonio, and Katy. She is also an active member of the Texas Girls Coaches Association, serving as a senior board member for the Austin Region for ten years, and served on the Volleyball Committee for nine years.
It is such participation that led to her selection as the coach for the association's 2016 All-Star game.
Coach Boren played collegiately at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she was a Setter/DS while majoring in Kinesiology.
During her tenure, she has trained many elite athletes in the Austin and San Antonio areas for 20+ years; however, she feels her greatest achievement is her wonderful family.
Together with her husband Dustin Boren ( a counselor in LTISD), Coach Boren loves spending time with her two children Brody (11 years old) and Blakely (10 years old).
Coach Boren is the Department Head for Health & Physical Education and loves teaching every day in the classroom!
